Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LoveSport AI LLC ("LoveSport," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information when you use our website, mobile applications, and related products and services, including player matching, club and facility discovery, court booking, merchandise browsing and purchase, score tracking, rankings, badges, in-app chat, customer support, and any other services we make available (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect through:

  • our website;
  • LoveSport mobile applications;
  • account registration, identity and eligibility verification, and account administration;
  • player profiles and matching tools;
  • court discovery and booking flows;
  • merchandise browsing, ordering, shipping, fulfillment, and returns flows;
  • payment and billing flows;
  • score entry, rankings, badges, and match history;
  • communications with clubs, facilities, other users, and support;
  • marketing, promotions, and surveys; and
  • other online and offline interactions that link to or reference this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, apps, clubs, facilities, payment processors, app stores, social networks, wallet providers, or other services that we do not control, even if they are linked from or integrated with the Services.

LoveSport may act as merchant of record for bookings and merchandise purchases made through the Services, while participating clubs and facilities independently operate their venues and remain responsible for their premises and on-site operations.

2. Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect the following categories of personal information.

A. Account and contact information

We may collect your name, display name, email address, phone number, login credentials, authentication tokens, account identifiers, and, where requested for billing, fraud prevention, or service administration, home address and related contact information. We may also collect sign-in information when you choose to authenticate through Google or Apple.

B. Profile and player information

We may collect avatar image, sport preferences, self-reported or system-generated skill level, handedness, self-reported gender, preferred playing times, preferred locations, playing style information, club affiliations, match interests, availability, and other information you add to your profile.

C. Booking, merchandise, and transaction information

We may collect booking details, facility name, court selection, reservation date and time, booking status, pricing, tax status, refund status, cancellation status, order details, merchandise selections, sizes, quantities, shipping information, fulfillment status, delivery status, return status, and transaction metadata. Where payments are processed through a third-party processor, we may receive limited payment-related information such as payment confirmation, card type, wallet type, last four digits, billing ZIP or postal code, payment tokens, and transaction identifiers. LoveSport does not intend to store full payment card numbers on its own systems.

D. Match, competition, and activity information

We may collect match participation data, scores, rankings, badges, match history, performance records, player compatibility information, and activity within the Services.

E. Communications and limited user content

We may collect in-app chat messages exchanged in connection with games or matches, support requests, survey responses, feedback, reports, avatar images, and other information you choose to provide through the Services.

F. Device, usage, and technical information

We may collect IP address, device identifiers, operating system, browser type, app version, language, time zone, diagnostic data, crash data, session activity, page views, feature interactions, cookie data, SDK data, advertising identifiers, and information about how you navigate and use the Services.

G. Precise location information

With your permission where required, we may collect and store precise geolocation information from your device to help show nearby players, clubs, courts, and relevant availability, facilitate matching, improve booking logistics, detect fraud, and improve the Services.

H. Marketing and preference information

We may collect your preferences for communications, promotions, saved interests, consent status, campaign interactions, and ad attribution information.

I. Club, facility, or business contact information

If you interact with us as a club, facility, coach, affiliate, or business representative, we may collect your business contact information, title, organization details, communications, onboarding details, authority-to-sign information, verification records, payout details, payout-change verification records, and related commercial information.

J. Legal, safety, and fraud-prevention information

We may collect information relevant to detecting abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, safety incidents, identity concerns, rule violations, disputes, chargebacks, payment reversals, unauthorized club onboarding, payout fraud, or legal claims.

K. Local device storage information

The website and app may use local storage, local cache, or on-device databases to improve performance, session continuity, offline resilience, and faster content loading. This information may include session data, cached content, configuration data, and other technical information stored on your device.

3. Sources of Personal Information

We may collect personal information:

  • directly from you;
  • from your device when you use the Services;
  • from clubs, facilities, or other users involved in the same booking, match, or interaction;
  • from payment processors, wallet providers, and app store platforms;
  • from analytics, crash reporting, hosting, advertising, communications, customer support, mapping, geolocation, anti-bot, identity, or security vendors;
  • from social login providers if you choose to sign in through them; and
  • from publicly available sources where lawful.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information for the following business and commercial purposes:

  • to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
  • to create and manage accounts;
  • to verify age eligibility and help keep minors off the platform;
  • to match players based on skill level, availability, location, sport, and other relevant criteria;
  • to facilitate court discovery, booking, confirmations, cancellations, refunds, check-in, merchandise orders, shipping, returns, related logistics, and post-transaction support;
  • to process payments, act as merchant of record for eligible platform transactions, support settlement and reconciliation with clubs and facilities, and manage payment disputes;
  • to verify authority, business identity, payout instructions, and fraud-related details for club, facility, and business partners;
  • to maintain match history, scores, rankings, badges, and related player features;
  • to enable in-app communications between users participating in matches, games, or bookings;
  • to personalize the user experience;
  • to communicate with you about bookings, account activity, updates, support, security alerts, and service announcements;
  • to send marketing or promotional communications where permitted by law and in accordance with your preferences;
  • to analyze usage, measure campaign performance, monitor performance, troubleshoot, and develop new features;
  • to enforce our Terms of Use, Community Guidelines / Player Code of Conduct, and other policies;
  • to investigate suspicious activity, misuse, fraud, abuse, or safety incidents;
  • to comply with legal obligations and protect rights, safety, and property; and
  • for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or otherwise permitted by law.

5. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:

A. Other users

Certain limited profile, match, and booking-related information may be visible to other users as necessary for the Services to function, such as your display name, avatar image, playing level, availability, sport preferences, match participation, or other profile elements you choose to make visible.

LoveSport does not display or disclose a user's home address, phone number, email address, or similar direct contact details to other users through the ordinary operation of the Services, unless the user separately chooses to share that information.

B. Clubs and facilities

We may share information with clubs or facilities when necessary to facilitate bookings, check-ins, payment reconciliation, refund authorization, dispute resolution, customer support, fraud prevention, safety review, or enforcement of venue rules.

C. Service providers and processors

We may share information with vendors that provide hosting, cloud services, analytics, advertising measurement, communications, customer support, payment processing, security, fraud prevention, identity verification, payout verification, geolocation, mapping, anti-bot protection, crash reporting, and similar business functions on our behalf.

D. App platforms and third-party integrations

If you access the Services through an app marketplace, social login, mapping provider, wallet provider, push-notification provider, or similar third-party integration, your information may be processed by those third parties in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices.

E. Professional advisors and corporate transaction participants

We may disclose information to lawyers, auditors, insurers, investors, lenders, advisors, acquirers, and counterparties in connection with business transactions or professional services.

F. Legal, safety, and regulatory disclosures

We may disclose information when we believe doing so is necessary to comply with law, regulation, legal process, court order, or government request; to protect users, the public, or our Services; to detect or prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or credible safety threats; or to enforce our agreements and policies.

G. With your direction or consent

We may disclose personal information for other purposes when you direct us to do so or consent.

6. Cookies, SDKs, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies

We and our partners may use cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, local storage, local cache, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, keep you signed in, improve performance, measure traffic and campaigns, detect abuse, support secure checkout, and improve user experience.

Some of these technologies are strictly necessary for the Services to function. Others may be used for analytics, attribution, personalization, or advertising where permitted by law and subject to applicable choice mechanisms.

The mobile app may also use on-device cache and local databases for faster loading, session continuity, and performance optimization.

7. Analytics, Advertising, and Security Tools

We may use third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, crash reporting, anti-bot, and security tools. These tools may collect technical and usage information such as IP address, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, usage events, diagnostics, and page or screen interactions in order to help us understand service performance, improve user experience, detect abuse, measure campaigns, and secure payment or login flows.

Where required by law, LoveSport will provide users with required disclosures and choices relating to analytics or advertising technologies.

8. Payments

Payments made through the Services, including court bookings and merchandise purchases, may be processed by third-party payment processors, including Stripe and, where enabled, wallet-based payment methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. LoveSport may act as merchant of record for those transactions and may receive payment confirmations, refunds, chargeback data, and related reconciliation information. The collection, use, and storage of payment information by processors and wallet providers is governed by their own policies and terms. LoveSport does not intend to store full payment card numbers on its own systems except as necessary through processor-provided tokenization or similar payment credentials.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

  • provide the Services;
  • maintain your account;
  • complete bookings and transactions;
  • keep score history, rankings, settlement records, dispute records, and safety records;
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations;
  • resolve disputes;
  • enforce our agreements; and
  • protect against fraud and misuse.

Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the data and the context in which it was collected.

10. Account Deletion and Data Requests

Subject to applicable law and our legitimate operational, legal, fraud-prevention, and safety needs, you may request deletion of your account and personal information.

Please note:

  • some information may need to be retained for legal compliance, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, security, fraud prevention, backup integrity, completed bookings, payments, settlements, or safety reports; and
  • where deletion is not possible, we may de-identify or securely isolate the relevant information.

You may submit requests by contacting us at privacy@lovesport.ai or through any in-app or web-based deletion mechanism we make available.

11. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable law, including the right to:

  • know whether we process your personal information;
  • access certain personal information;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • request deletion of certain personal information;
  • opt out of certain marketing communications;
  • opt out of certain targeted advertising or profiling where required by law;
  • appeal a denied privacy request where required by law; and
  • exercise additional rights provided by applicable law.

You may opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in those communications. You may opt out of SMS marketing by replying STOP, and manage push marketing preferences through your device and app settings. You may still receive transactional and service-related messages.

If you submit a privacy request, we may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

12. Children and Age Eligibility

LoveSport is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. The Services are not directed to children or minors, and individuals under 18 may not create accounts, make bookings, use in-app chat, or otherwise use the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

If we learn that a person under 18 has provided personal information or created an account, we may suspend or terminate the account and delete the information, subject to legal retention obligations. If you believe a minor has used the Services, contact us at privacy@lovesport.ai.

13. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

14. International Data Transfers

If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version and revise the Effective Date above. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice.
